Jingjing Xu

Jingjing Xu is a researcher of biochemistry at the University of Southern Denmark. Originally from China, she obtained her doctoral degree at the University of Oldenburg, moved to Denmark for a postdoctoral training and became a tenure-track assistant professor recently. Her journey to find the career path has not been as straightforward as it looks like. At different point, she thought about becoming a teacher or a journalist, before ultimately discovering her strong interest in scientific research. She made her way through language barriers and international culture difference. Beyond her professional pursuits, she builds a family, raises a child and runs her half-marathons.
